CHICAGO — Kate Suprenuk has been appointed President, Railcar Leasing North America, for Marmon Rail. In this role, Suprenuk will lead the leasing business of Union Tank Car Company (UTLX) and Procor Limited, which encompasses all of Marmon Holdings railcar leasing activities across North America.

Randy Pocrnick, President of Procor Leasing, will retain his current responsibilities and report to Suprenuk.

Suprenuk’s promotion coincides with the announcement of the retirement of Bill Constantino, current Group President Marmon Rail Leasing. As of Jan. 1, 2024, Constantino will assume the role of Senior Vice President of Advisory Services, with plans to retire later in the year.

“Kate has been an integral part of Marmon Rail during her seven years with the company. Her experience, enthusiasm and leadership make her the ideal candidate to assume this critical role,” said Mark Carrier, Executive Vice President, Marmon Rail & Crane Groups.

Suprenuk stated, “I am honored to lead this exceptional organization and look forward to working with our dedicated employees to continue to provide excellent railcar products and services across North America.”

Suprenuk has served as President of Leasing at UTLX since January 2022 and brings 30 years’ experience in a variety of business functions, including nearly two decades in GE Capital’s Intermodal and Railcar Leasing divisions where she served as Chief Financial Officer.

Constantino will retire in 2024 after a successful 45-year career with the company. During his tenure, Constantino led the business through multiple economic cycles and helped shape the industry. “The company’s success has been and continues to be possible through Bill’s unwavering dedication and leadership throughout the years. The breadth and depth of his industry knowledge, combined with his strategic guidance, will be missed and we wish Bill the best in his retirement,” stated Carrier.
