CANNON FALLS, Minn. – Cannon Equipment® has introduced CartPilot™, a new powered-drive system that can be added to nearly any material handling cart to boost warehouse, stockroom, or distribution facility productivity by upwards of 10% or more.

CartPilot, which is Cannon Equipment’s latest innovation in its exclusive SmartPWR® platform, features easy-to-use controls and a robust battery-powered motor that allows a single operator to effortlessly move up to 1,000 lbs. of materials.

CartPilot doesn’t just move, it moves safely. Engineered safety features include reverse object detection, safety beams, reverse back-up horn, and zero-turn maneuverability. Ergonomically designed control buttons allow operators to quickly adjust transport speeds and cart direction, forward or reverse, reducing strain on employees and improving productivity. A class leading 55-amp hour battery keeps the cart moving up to 16 hours before needing a recharge.

“Most exciting about CartPilot is that any warehouse or backroom operation can significantly increase productivity by simply integrating CartPilot into their existing or new fleet of carts,” said Joe Rother, Cannon Equipment Director of Sales. “CartPilot is easy to use, requiring a brief training for employees to familiarize themselves with the intuitive controls.”

Rother noted that the average 10%-plus boost in productivity means a 100% ROI in the first year of ownership.

“CartPilot will revolutionize the way we move materials,” Rother said. “The team has worked tirelessly to bring this new product to market. We can’t wait for customers to see how CartPilot can increase productivity, reduce costs, and improve warehouse safety.”

A more productive warehouse is closer than you think. For more information on the new CartPilot from Cannon Equipment, call (800) 825-8501, or visit our website here.
