  • Appointing a Sustainability Officer and establishing a management-level sustainability committee.
  • Auditing facilities on a regular basis to ensure environmental regulatory compliance and assess environmental progress.

  • Communicating our progress towards our goals and commitments.

Across our portfolio of operating companies, we are focused on operating sustainably to help meet the goals of our customers and enhance the communities in which we operate. Our environmental sustainability efforts are spearheaded by our Sustainability Officer who is responsible for ensuring adherence to our standards and achieving our goals. The Sustainability Officer reports directly to our Chief Legal Counsel.

Social Responsibility
Since its founding in 1953, Marmon has always been a highly ethical organization that strives to respect and value all our people and their contributions. We aim to become an employer of choice in every community Marmon calls home, and we strive to help our people realize their full potential throughout their careers with Marmon while growing our businesses. We believe each member of the Marmon team brings a unique and important set of experiences, talents, and ideas. These differences make Marmon more innovative. More vibrant. Stronger. We strive to make everyone feel welcome, valued, and empowered to share their contributions. This culture of full engagement will increase access to opportunities and enable us to attract, retain, and develop the talent that is vital to our success, as well as benefit our customers and communities in which we operate, serve, and our employees live.

We are committed to valuing and respecting differences in our workforce including, but not limited to, age, race, ethnicity, national origin, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, socioeconomic status, veteran status, language, and disability status.

Our active work in this area includes appointment of a Diversity Officer to lead a full but achievable plan for significant progress. Marmon’s Senior Leadership Team solidly supports initiatives already under way, including formation of Employee Resource Groups and a focus on recruiting for leadership roles both internal and external candidates who are women, people of color, LGBTQ+, and other underrepresented communities. We are committed to increasing equity, diversity, inclusion, and promoting a more socially responsible world.
