Mark Carrier

Mark Carrier serves as Executive Vice President over Marmon’s Rail & Leasing and Crane business groups, a position he has held since 2018. Mark works with each of his group and company presidents to develop customer and market focused strategies that deliver long-term sustainable growth. His goal is to best position businesses to better serve their customers by focusing on their competitive strategic advantage.

Mark joined Marmon in 2012 and has led a number of Marmon business groups during his tenure. Mark also spent a year helping Duracell establish its lithium coin and industrial business strategies.

Prior to Marmon, Mark worked at Illinois Tool Works for 14 years in progressive roles, starting as division controller and ending his tenure as Vice President and General Manager of the North American Automotive fastener group. Earlier in his career Mark spent 10 years in finance and operational roles in the automotive and steel industries across his native state of Michigan.

Mark earned his Master of Business Administration from the University of Michigan and Bachelor’s Degree in accounting from Grand Valley State University located in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
