Jason Gerding

Jason Gerding serves as Executive Vice President over Marmon’s Transportation Products Group which is a group of companies focused on products serving both light duty and commercial vehicles. Jason was promoted to his role in March 2023 after serving as Group President of the Heavy Duty Transportation Group since March of 2020. While managing the Heavy Duty Transportation Group, Jason positioned the companies to focus on emerging trends such as telematics and electrification while maintaining focus on the Marmon toolbox, innovation, and growth.

Jason has spent all but one year of his career at Marmon. He joined the company through Fontaine Specialized in 1996 as a design engineer and then moved into sales and operations at Fontaine Trailer Company.  In 2002, Jason was asked to take on the role of General Manager of the newly acquired Ravens Trailer. Jason was then tasked to help segment Webb Wheel into three business and was promoted to President of the newly segmented Webb Transit business unit. In 2007 he went back to Fontaine Trailer as President of their dealer business unit before being named the President of newly acquired TSE Brakes in 2010.  

Jason was promoted to Group President of Marmon’s Brake and Wheel Ends Group in 2013 consisting of the Webb Wheel and TSE Brakes. Over the next several years he continued adding businesses to his portfolio, culminating in his promotion to Group President of the Heavy Duty Transportation Group in 2020.

Jason earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Auburn University.
