Chief Human Resources Officer
As Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), Diane Vlcek is responsible for leading Marmon’s global HR organization and providing support to our portfolio companies to help them meet their diverse talent needs.
Since becoming Marmon’s first CHRO in 2018, Diane has been building the company’s HR infrastructure, including implementation of Marmon’s first-ever global human capital management system for our more than 20,000 employees. Over the course of 2020, Diane led the infrastructure development to help manage the ever-evolving pandemic that reshaped work across Marmon.
Prior to her current role, Diane served as CHRO for Duracell and was a member of the transition team responsible for integrating Duracell into Berkshire Hathaway following Berkshire’s acquisition of the company.
Prior to her work with Marmon, Diane served in a variety of HR leadership roles for Ameritech/SBC, International Paper, Navistar and Mercer Consulting. She has invested nearly 40 years in the human resources field, to which she felt called from the time she was in high school.
Diane holds a Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, human resources and finance from Valparaiso University.
